Australian Simply Cards - 2014 Cardmaker Of The Year

Hi Everyone,

Big News!!!

In November 2014 I entered, for the first time, the Australian Simply Cards 2014 Cardmaker Of The Year competition.

I am very excited to share that I have been informed by Tracey Orchard - Editor of Australian Simply Cards on 13 April 2015, that I am 1 of the 9 Runners Up in the Australian Simply Cards 2014 Cardmaker Of The Year competition.

I would like to say a big thank you to Tracey Orchard - Editor of Australian Simply Cards and her lovely team for selecting me as one of the 9 runners up. Congratulations to the Winner and the other 8 runners up.

A Big Thank You to my husband that motivated me to enter the Australian Simply Cards 2014 Cardmaker Of The Year competition.

My cards will be published for the first time in a magazine.  The three cards that I entered for the Australian Simply Cards 2014 Cardmaker Of The Year competition are published in Australian Simply Cards, Issue 80 on Page 68.

To be honest it felt quite daunting to enter, because of the wonderful cards I have seen other cardmakers make.  It was all thanks to my husband that motivated me to enter the competition.  You can be the next winner, all that you need to do is making some cards for the next competition and enter.

I also need to thank Alyce Keegan from Kit and Clowder, without her wonderful teaching, feedback and excellent colouring class tutorials, I would not have improved on my skills in colouring these beautiful images.  A big thank you Alyce.

Thank you for visiting me, I always appreciate you taking the time to leave a lovely comment.
